North Spectra Slings are used as anchorage connectors for fall arrest and travel restraint applications. The slings must be used in accordance with proper fall protection methods and are designed for personnel fall arresting only. These slings meet the requirement of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and American National Safety Institute (ANSI) for anchorage connectors. Spectra Fiber is a polyethylene-based fiber and is the lightest and strongest of man-made fibers. It is 8 to 10 times the strength of steel and at least 40 times stronger than other comparable aramid products of its size.
